| About Me | Marika Stone is co-founder and editorial director of 2young2retire.com, a community of purpose for people 50 and older. She has been a teacher of English and writing, journalist in her native Burma, PR account executive, and small business owner helping clients that included Eastman Kodak and Sony refine their marketing communications through the written and spoken word. Her work has been published in Forbes, Careerjounal.com (Dow Jones), Neatwomeninc.com, Seniority.co.uk., the Sunday Times (London), and scores of trade journals. She is co-author of Too Young to Retire: 101 Ways to Start the Rest of Your Life (Penguin Plume 2004) and A Journal of Transition (2young2retire Associates 2006). Together with her husband and business partner, she was named Purpose Prize Fellow for 2007. She is proud grandmother of Benjamin, Shaw, Chase, Teah and Colin. In addition to teaching Kripalu yoga, Marika's mission through the website, books and monthly newsletter is to retire retirement, create an ageless workforce, and help people -- particularly women of a certain age -- achieve their full potential.
